Shruti Jane Eusebius
Ms. Eusebius joined the National Judicial Academy in March 2012 as a Law Associate. She was selected as a Research Fellow in 2018 and serves in this capacity from 2018 to the present day. At National Judicial Academy, Ms. Eusebius is involved in designing and conducting training programmes for judges, including High Court Justices & judges of the District Judiciary. She has also been involved in designing and conducting academic programmes for judges from Sri Lanka & Bangladesh.
Ms. Eusebius also conducted a benchmarking exercise for Eswatini judicial officers in a virtual meeting between NJA and the Ministry of Justice & Constitutional Affairs, Kingdom of Eswatini on 23rd October 2020, and addressed the meeting as the speaker on the themes of Disciplinary proceedings for Civil Servants and Small Cause Courts in India. She has also represented National Judicial Academy in the National Consultation on ‘MoHFW’s Guidelines and Protocols on Medico-Legal Care for Survivors/Victims of Sexual Violence’ organised by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare on 5th December 2017.
Ms. Eusebius has completed her BSL.LLB from ILS Law College, Pune and LLM from Barkatullah University. She has qualified the UGC National Eligibility Test for Assistant Professorship. Ms. Eusebius is currently pursuing her doctorate in juvenile justice law.
Prior to joining the National Judicial Academy, Ms. Eusebius worked as an Assistant Manager for Deloitte Haskins & Sells, Mumbai providing indirect tax consulting services to clients in the Technology, Media & Entertainment, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector.
